Shanghai/HK holiday 21 Nov - Day 6

The kids sat behind each time we travel on the road. There is another clique in front.

At Hangzhou, the biggest attraction is Xi Hu (West lake). Unfortunately the weather was wet and it was misty. We could not enjoy its complete beauty becaue we could not see far to appreciate the mountains.

This is the bridge where Liang San Bo and Zhu Ying Tai bade farewell 18 times.

We went to a tea plantation to learn about Long Jing cha.

Just before leaving for Shanghai, we were brought to a precious stones factory. It was a big con job. Will elaborate when we have time. When we went up the coach, everyone was discussing about the con job. Most of them agreed we were nearly conned big time.

Took a 3 hour ride to Shanghai.

Our first stop after dinner in Shanghai is a 50 min cruise on the bund. That's the best way to view the bund we were told.

Everyone is enjoying the scenary on the bund at the deck but Ryan and the girls are busy playing games.

Just before we left the bund, we were treated to about 10 mins of fireworks. No one knew the reasons for the fireworks display but it was beautiful on the brightly lighted bund.

Our hotel at Shanghai is no good. 3-star maybe? And we are staying here for 2 nights!
