Shanghai/Hk holiday 18 Nov - Day 3

Started the day at 6.30am as usual. Sigh.... still raining.

We are still in SuZhou.Our first stop was Shi Zhi Lin. It's actually a very nice mansion. Some interesting history but..... cannot remember lah! See the pictures.











Next, we went to a silk factory. That's an expensive place because Grandma and Mommy bought S$800+ worth of blankets and pillows! I agree it will cost a lot more to buy them in Singapore. So in a way, it is worth it. Forgot to take the pictures of our purchases when they lined the floor before payment. So pai seh! The factory packed everything for us for checking in.





We drove to WuXi after linch. At WuXi, we visited a temple.




The night was spent shopping at Parksons from Malaysia. Parksons is very successful in Jiangnan. Sale is on and they are really cheap.
