Shanghai/HK holiday 20 Nov - Day 5

Our guide said we have been very punctual every morning. So he has decided to take away his 15 mins buffer time and set our morning call at 15 mins later. That's still 6.45am. Very early!

This is our hotel from the outside before we depart for our first stop.

Our first stop is Xuan Hu. It is a small lake but the stone wall beside the lake is also famous. They say people go to Nanjing to see stones. This is it.

The tour took us to a jade factory next. Don't think the sales people are as successful as those at the pearl factory.

It is a long 4 hour ride to Hangzhou.

First stop in Hangzhou is a old town market> Can't remember its name. Will update later.

We tried the stink beancurd and the mutton "satay".

And also the dragon floss candy (long xu dang)

Grandma is sick. Coughing and losing voice for days. So we took her to the Chinese Medical Hall for consultation.

At night, we had an interesting show. The show has Kung Fu and also dances to feature Hangzhou history including Liang San Bo and Zhu Ying Tai. This entire show is directed by Zhang Yi Mou.

Got to our hotel at about 9pm. This is the lobby while we awaited for our room keys.
